Holy Grail Hair Product!
Calling all blondes!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I have found my ultimate blonde hair shampoo and conditioner combination! Thanks to a YouTube tutorial by Karissa from Saturdaynightsalrite I decided to give this product a go and I have to say, if you're a blonde who has any concerns about brassiness, you need to give this product a go!
Natural Look Silver Screen Movie Tone Hues Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner combination is honestly the best toner I have ever tried, and I have tried a few! I've used a number of different brands at home and had a number of different toners plopped on in the salon too! I purchased my bottles from Melbourne Hair & Beauty Supplies (on ebay.) I think that these leave your hair feeling really nice, even without the toning benefit, the actual formulation of the shampoo and conditioner feels pretty hydrating. It's not all about the toning, they feel like they are actually leaving your hair feeling healthy and soft, which is always needed for those of us with blonde hair! I was surprised by this because I have used a number of toners that haven't left my hair feeling that great, even if they did a good job of toning. Having said that though, this is actually THE best toner I have tried.
The shampoo does a good job of toning, but the conditioner is really where it's at for toning power, so I think if you were just going to buy one or the other, I would go for the conditioner. I purchased mine for $55.95 - that was for the shampoo and the conditioner and each was a 1 liter size with the pump! That is a huge amount of product for that price!!
I am now naturally quite an ashy blonde (strawberry blonde as a child), but I do tend to throw a lot of gold tones. This shampoo and conditioner definitely calms that gold down and leaves my hair looking a nice light, ashy blonde that I prefer. My hair is currently a slightly darker blonde that what I usually would have (just to give it a break from the bleach) but this still works to tone the gold out without leaving it looking too dull or too dark and ashy. If you're hair is closer to a platinum shade I would say to monitor this carefully when you do use it - especially the conditioner, as it could leave you with purple streaks quite easily. Having said that though, the purple will tend to diminish and wash out after a few washes. On my hair I have found that leaving the conditioner on for about 3 minutes is enough time to tone out the darker blonde areas (the ends of my hair are still quite light - so I have to watch that they don't go too far!)
I honestly can't say enough good things about this shampoo and conditioner!! I wish I had some form of before and after that actually showed how good these products are, maybe I will try this out on my clip in extensions (which have always been too gold for me) and post some before and afters of those. I can guarantee that as long as they keep making this and as long as I am a blonde, I will keep purchasing these products!
