Mini Haul! OPI and Sigma brushes!

I decided that online shopping takes far too long to arrive at my door...That's a lie, online shopping is what I do and I don't know what I would do without being able to buy things online. (Maybe I would be wealthy...) Anyway, that first sentence had a point, I'm sure of it. Oh, that's right, I  decided I can't wait for everything to arrive before I do a little blog post. So, mini haul it is.

I've been trying to decide for a while now whether or not I should buy some Sigma Beauty Brushes or not. The only 'brand name' brushes I've owned are Real Techniques, which are also good brushes, but I really only use maybe 4 out of the ten that I have. Seeing a few people on You Tube that use Sigma brushes, I decided now was the time and I went ahead and ordered a kit from the Sigma Beauty website.

The Synthetic Essentials Kit comes with 10 different brushes. You get five smaller brushes in the Synthetic Precision Kit and five larger brushes in the Synthetic Kabuki Kit . You can buy each of these as a separate kit, but I like the idea of having the whole kit and you save money buy buying the 10 piece kit. There were a couple of brushes from each that I really wanted to try and so I thought why not get all of them!

The Synthetic Precision Kit comes with the P80 - Precision Flat, the P82 - Precision Round, the P84 - Precision Angled, the P86 - Precision Tapered and the P88 - Precision Flat Angled.
The Synthetic Kabuki Kit comes with the F80 - Flat Kabuki, the F82 - Round Kabuki, the F84 - Angled Kabuki, the F86 - Tapered Kabuki and the F88 - Flat Angled Kabuki.
All of these brushes are also available to purchase separately on the Sigma Beauty website.

The main reason I purchased these brushes is really the face brushes. All of the large kabuki brushes are ones I've have wanted to try for foundation for quite a while. The precision kit also contains a couple of brushes that are apparently wonderful for concealer application and I was interested to give these a go.

As I haven't used these brushes yet, I really can't give you any kind of review on them, but I can tell you they are so incredibly soft to touch and I can just imagine that they feel amazing to use on the face. I will hopefully get a review up after I have been using them for a while, but until then, there are a number of beauty blogs and youtube beauty gurus who have excellent reviews on these brushes if you are interested in seeing a review.
My pack also came with a bonus item, the single black eye shadow in this beautiful sparkly black called "Shine." It has great staying powder, I swatched it on my hand to show my mum and let me tell you, it was there for a while!

The next item is OPIs Minnie Minis. I purchased my kit from tvsn, as a purchase with purchase. This is basically a reduced price on an item when you buy it with something else. So I got an Avojuice pack and then ordered the nailpolishes for a reduced price of $14 on top of the price of the Avojuice pack. I thought that this was a pretty good deal, especially because I also really wanted to Avojuices becasue they were in the Caramel and Huckleberry flavours! Speaking of tvsn, if you are in Australia they are a great place to pick up some deals on OPI! For example, this kit that I'm really tempted to buy at the moment is $49 for 6 full size bottles!!
I like OPIs mini kits, I think that they are an affordable way to try a number of different colours in their range. They are a great gift idea too! I'm yet to actually finish a whole nail polish (maybe I just don't wear it that often) so I quite like the minis.

I have a number of other OPI polishes and I do like all of the ones I have tried. These are no different, I lie the consistency and the colour is good. You can see in the pictures that they cover well (that is after two coats - probably would have looked better if I had taken the french off before painting the colour on as you can see the tips through the colour!)

My favourite colour in this set is the pink or "If You Moust You Moust." This is a perfect pink for me!  The red "The Color of Minnie" is nice as well, but I'm not a big red nail polish wearer, thought it does have a great bright red tone that I may have to give a go a bit more often. The sheer pinky/red colour with sparkles or "I'm All Ears" would be a great one to layer over other colours.  I think that this is great on it's own, but it is sheer. I think it would look fantastic over the red in this pack or perhaps over a dark purple.

So, that's it for my mini haul! I do have the Naked 1 & 2 palette that arrived today, had a little drama there, but that's another story! (Packaging disaster!)
